Winter Blues Buster

Just like the abbreviation, SAD, is well….a sad state to be in. In the winter, SAD sufferers experience a range of symptoms such as:

- Lack of focus
- Weight gain
- Food cravings
- Extreme sleepiness
- Low immunity levels
- Loss of sex drive
- Mood swings

Well, there is a reason for that as the disorder is brought on by a lack of sunlight and physical activity. The days are generally dark and dreary. So, it is understandable, then, why during the winter, most of us want to crawl in bed and wake up sometime in the middle of April!
Here is how essential oils can help you cope through the drudgery of SAD. Scientists have shown that those suffering from SAD respond well to the aromas of essential oils. Using an aroma diffuser, in particular, is a safe and effective way to permeate your home with different blends that will energize and alleviate those winter blues. THE WINTER BLUES BUSTER AROMA DIFFUSER BLEND
INGREDIENTS
- 2 drops Lavender EO (to boost stamina and improve focus)
- 3 drops Sweet Orange EO (to energize, rejuvenate and uplift)
- 1 drop Tea Tree Oil EO (to boost immune system and fight bacteria)
- 2 drops Peppermint Oil EO (to clear out the mind and clear the sinuses)
- 100 ml of distilled water
